To be clear, the CoBM does not endorse specific political parties or candidates. Having said that, we would like to mention that one of our Church members, James Harrison Nixon, is running for State Senate in Georgia. As Mr. Nixon describes himself:
James Harrison Nixon is a normal person that cares for his state. A average working man that truly stands for the people in his district as well as Georgia.
Mr. Nixon, as a visibly modified person, is actively breaking commonly held stereotypes about what a modified person is capable of. It’s our hope that others running for the same seat will focus on the important issues and not try to use Mr. Nixon’s modifications as a point of contention .
